'Cargo It Go' Platform Enhancement by Reflecting Cargo Owners' Opinions Applying customer experience innovation DNA to new freight transportation business 2024/03 ![]() LG U+ is upgrading its platform by listening to the vivid voices of cargo owners' direct experiences on 'Cargo It Go'. LG U+ is strengthening its communication channels so that borrowers can directly use the platform and suggest improvements and complementary points on 'Cargo It Go,' a DX platform for freight transportation brokerage, and upgrade the service based on them. By grafting its customer experience innovation DNA, which has been successful in all business areas, onto the new freight transportation business, LG U+ plans to accelerate its business leadership in the freight transportation brokerage market. Cargo.igo is a DX platform that matches drivers who are commissioned to transport cargo and dispatch vehicles with drivers who directly transport cargo. It aims to digitally transform the middle-mile market, which is still dominated by analog web methods, and has implemented all the services required for freight transportation brokerage, such as dispatching, transportation, settlement, and customer management, in one platform. The process consists of three stages: 'First Go' to recruit participating drivers, 'Order Go' for drivers to operate directly through Cargo.igo, and 'Feedback Go' to suggest improvements and necessary services after use. LG U+ plans to operate the program in a virtuous cycle by reflecting the opinions of car owners who have experienced and felt Cargo It Go on the platform and receiving suggestions for improved services. The program will be held three times through September this year. LG U+ is recruiting cargo owners to participate in the program until March 31st. Those who wish to participate can apply by signing up through the Cargo It Go app and registering vehicle information and necessary documents such as vehicle registration and business license. LG U+ will incorporate its AI technology into the Cargo It Go platform to ensure that both drivers and arrangers are satisfied. Through this, it plans to continuously improve customer pain points. In particular, the strategy is to secure differentiated competitiveness by continuously enhancing functions that cargo borrowers need, such as price calculation, route and dispatch optimization, and consolidation, based on LG U+'s self-developed AI technology, 'ixi'. In fact, before developing the platform, CargoitGo designed the user experience required for dispatching, transportation, and settlement with logistics companies such as Kang Animal and Logistek. In addition, the company collected opinions from cargo owners before launching the service and equipped a cargo-specific navigation system that provides accurate road-based information when loading and unloading. "Owners who work on the actual transportation site are real experts with insights that cannot be found through numerical data," said Kang Jong-oh, Head of Mobility Business at LG U+. "Through this program, we will lead the freight forwarding brokerage market by building a customer-friendly service that listens to the most bitter voices of arrangers and cargo owners and improves them agilely." |
